California’s Next Big Crisis Reaching a High Water Mark

It’s not just the economy that has agriculturalists and other water-dependent businesses shaking in their boots, but the rapidly declining availability of life’s most precious resource. The Environmental Protection Agency says 36 states will suffer shortages by 2013. California, though, will likely be hit hard much sooner, which is why businesses cannot afford to wait.
