DHS Optional Practical Training Interim Rule
Proposed on April 4, 2008, this is the Department of Homeland Security’s proposed rule change to the Optional Practical Training program, which would allow qualified foreign students of U.S. universities to remain in the country for 29 months upon graduation. This would be an increase from 12 months.
